Not done by a specialist. It’s a decent family run company which has won numerous local awards and is close to where I live. Been going since the 70s. They said they weren’t happy with the noise so replaced the part along with spark plugs etc.

£2.5k is a lot but better than a smashed up engine. Hopefully I'll be in a position to jump into the FF ownership club later this year on one of these.
