Number plate valuations..

I just filled in one of the on line valuation forms, as I'm thinking of selling my plate (would look a bit silly on a RR) The price they came back with was £4k, this is the price I would come out with after they had taken commission off. What they don't say is how much they would advertise it for...... Any ideas what % these companies put on to plates to sell them?

A comparitive search will give you an idea.
Some companies give you silly valuations.

It's like an estate agent saying your house is worth 100k more to get your business and then it takes ages to sell and the price is revised later.

It's the one in the picture D1 SCD - D15 COE is currently been advertised at £11,995 and D15 COH at £5995, although I do realise these are the advertised prices, and not the prices achieved..

I'm tempted to hang on to it, but like I said. I think it won't look right on a Range Rover Confused

If you may have a Disco in future, I'd keep it.
But I like to collect things. Thumbs Up

I'd keep it, great looking plate and people may think you are a "Nightclub owner" or in the music business..... Laughing

Many years ago, I had a Mazda MX3 and I put the plate H15 MXE on it, only cost me £250.00 from the DVLA at the time, 2 days after agreeing a private sale with the plate remaining on the car, the Dealer Principal of a local Mazda garage offered me £1500.00 just for the plate..... Big Cry
