Those are all really good points! Why do JLR have so many issues? Do the Jags suffer in the same way, or is it just Land Rovers? 2014 SDV8 L405 Autobiography. Luxor with ivory. 22's...

Quite, these issues are common faults and changing the switch is not curring the problem, unfortunately. See my post about the same issues on the Sport.

Adam , damaged the steering wheel as well ?what incompetent people they are . I will be frightened to put my car into these dealers.

Guy over on the sport forum has had these steering wheel control problems ,his dealer has told him replacing will not solve the problem and that a new update is coming at the mid to end of April. Rolling Eyes

Hi mate,
been reading the thread on Sport site, not good news is it.
Been here before badge and t-shirt and it is not looking too good.
Wasn't working last night when i went out but on my return it was, it has to be a software issue.
Why can't they get it right.

Could you send a link to the Sport site post please.

My replaced switch pack was a new version supposed to cure the issue and has worked so far.

If I was Mr Tata catching wind of this, I’d be in Gaydon or wherever swinging the axe myself - how, in 2018, can a major manufacturer sell someone a six-figure car with a major system that just doesn’t work?

Whether it’s down to software, processing power or whatever, it’s barely credible - particularly after all the criticism of previous infotainment systems. How difficult can it be?

Trommel
absolutely right.
thing is, i don't think many get returned to land rover but back to dealer who then has the problem, they hang to them get the fixes redone and sell them on.
