it might be as simple as the battery not giving enough power to get ALL the ecu's going...how old is the battery, if over 3 years then i would think about replacing it. ... - .- -.

Hi Thanks for the reply. If this is the case why does the system re-start after the fuse is pulled and replaced the battery voltage will be the same and then why does the system not re-start when the engine is running and battery/system voltage is at maximum? Surely if a battery can supply enough amps to start a diesel engine in the winter then a few ecu's should be no problem unless it is a voltage issue and the voltage would not change between pulling and re-inserting a fuse. could be [like a pc] you're rebooting the ecu which in the first place didnt have the oooophh to get going..only a theory mind. ... - .- -.
