United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Giverny Green

Thanks Joe,
i just had a go at checking the relay and other functions. With the new relay IN - car started - No action from the compressor- compressor not running.
I put a meter across the relay connections: the activating pins have fluctuating voltage of 11.9 to .6vdc. This should be approx 12v to activate the relay. The relay when active, link the top and bottom pins (i think 5-7 when linked relay kicks in).The pressure in the tank does not rise.
2 x yellow light on control switch - centre and round switch.

"2 x yellow light on control switch - centre and round switch."

Which two lights? if the one on the button is on you have inhibited the air suspension and it will not do anything, that light needs to be OFF ! (no 3 in image)

I presume you have tried pushing in the round switch 3 to switch off the inhibit suspension function?

Um, 1 is not a light it is a switch, so I presume you mean 2 the middle light for normal height?
Are you at normal height? (493 front/483 rear - from hub centre to wheelarch)

If you cannot turn off the inihibit light by pressing the button, you have some sort of hard fault that will need clearing.

As previously mentioned:

Air Suspension will not do anything if inhibit is ON
Air Suspension will not do anything if you have any doors open
Air Suspension will not do anything if there is a hard fault (AIR SUSP INACTIVE) on message centre .

Hi all,

Back from work, ordered the air tank pressure sensor .. (I read the manual regarding the pressure sensor)- The manual states that it can not be replaced -- £58.00 from famous four.. ??CAN IT BE REPLACED LOCATED AT THE BACK OF THE ALUMINIUM TANK UNDER CAR...

I took battery off for two hours- reconnected and engine ON moved the steering to left then to right -" air suspension inactive" disappeared and the the inhibit light went off- The light back on after 30 seconds - all doors shut. Engine running.

The front suspension has stayed up and never went down. The rear is down to bump stop- this happened after i cleared all the faults using the i930. All ok after reset. THEN i move the control switch to down position - the back end down to bump; stop.

The rest is in the thread

@ m@ttsFF
- AFAIK no ECU upgrade for >05 vehicles, in any case RR1994 does not have a BT IIDTool

@ RR1994
- yes, you can replace the air pressure sensor, but you should be getting fault codes about this problem - e.g. reservoir pressure low etc. You say you cleared all faults, did this include the LCM (this carries an EAS fault too) ?

Have you read the faults since the Inhibit switch light came back on? This can indicate an EAS problem (doh! yes, I know!), although it is usually all lights off for a hard fault + a bong in the message centre. I presume when the Inhibit switch light cam e back on you could not turn it off? Anything from the message centre? Not even a bong when you turn the ignition off ? .
