England 2006 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Zermatt Silver

I was told by my dealer the vogue's asking price is £65k...Think I'll pick one second hand in a couple of years time Wink

Do you guys think I could at least upgrade the rear lights? Look like it could be interchangable with current model....

Have been reading a few differrent forums on the the New FFRR a lot of people not too taken on by it . just a few GRUMPS ................. Whistle

More distractions for someone driving one of the most potently destructive single person carrying objects on the road. More toys, more weight, more power to haul it around at unstoppable speed. Sorry but at LR the clock seems to be going backward not forward........ Yawn

Land Rover is targeting Bentley levels of opulence with this revised version of the third-generation Range Rover. Cool

Truth be told, I think they would have been better placing the time and effort into the LRX and getting that ready and out . Whistle

But surely if that's what you want you should be able to buy it? At the end of the day, if you dont want all the gadgets etc, then buy a Disco/Freeloader/Defender. If you want the best money can buy, buy a Range Rover.

That's the great thing about Land Rovers, if you want posh you've got the Range Rover, if you have tons of kids you can have the disco, if your poor then you can have a freelander and if your mental you can buy a defender!

The more gadgets the better, and hopefully the new binnacle wont suffer from dead pixels!

Nowt wrong with Defenders. Do exactly what they're designed to do very well. Shame about the Transit engine these days though.

Never understood Freelanders though, for the same money you can get a decent spec estate (assuming that you're the 99.9% who never take them off road. . . ever).

Not sure about the grille on the MY10. Looks a bit wet to me. Loosing the agressive look a bit.

I'm not going to name the person who works for LR, as it might get him in trouble.

He openly criticise(to me anyway)that until LR could build their cars like the Mercs, they shouldn't go all hi-tech with TFT screen, have enough electrical gremlins already, won't surprise him if the new dash would black out on new model owners... Whistle

Bang on Larry - The front end looks a bit... well... how do you say... w Censored k! Nowhere near as good looking as the existing FFRR.

Love the look of the new interior: especially the new screen and the binnacle - would like to see for real, just to be certain.

Even Mercedes sometimes gets it wrong with the hi-tec stuff , the wife has had nothing but trouble with her Sat Nav,Telephone, command screen in her car.

Switch the car on and it automatically jumps from cd playing to the radio , make a phone call from the screen and it jumps to tv playing .............. Whistle

Mick, isn't that level of change in the next MAJOr update, not the facelift we are seeing now, perhaps they are testing some new bits out on the facelift before they move away radically in design, as they have done each time e.g

tried the LSE wheelbase on the classic to prove it for the P38 along with air suspension too Discovery 4 HSE

So you reckon they might go down the road of changing the design.

I have enquired about availability and price on the 2010 Mdl, and would rather hold off if they were going to radically change the appearance ........... Thumbs Up

Here at dcc4x4 we are currently working on sourcing the parts to facelfit all earlier Range Rovers to the
2010 supercharged spec and hope to be ready to start the conversions within the next few months, the rear lights are not plug and play according to a good friend of mine, unlike the current supercharged rear lights but we are looking to adapt them to fit, cost of the full conversion including the side vents and rear lamps is TBA at present.

Sorry but don't see the point in trying to make an 04/05/06/ Mdl like an 2010 mdl there is only so much you can do to the exterior .

It's the interior where all the changes are ..............

Think it's okay if you are renewing like for like on particular models tho ........ eg 04 for 04 05 for 05 and so on .........
