Australia 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Java Black

The head unit only has the cassette player and its pre-amp, all the rest is in the electronics cabinet in the left rear compartment next to the spare wheel. The head unit communicates (via I-Bus in pre 2005) to all the 'bits-in-the-boot' (and optionally the CD changer behind the glove box).

DSP adds extra quirks to the chain of parts which make addons much harder than substitutions.

You need a Harman-Becker radio tuner from a later BMW. Models carrying the L322 code do not have AUX or MP3. Additionally your vehicles' main computer (instrument cluster) needs to be updated with later firmware to understand and display MP3 info (usually done automatically with dealer services) and the radio needs matching firmware.
You need to run additional cables from the rear compartment to input sockets located in the seating area (easiest is into the centre console).

Brand = Harman Becker
Pins are 'flat' type
Known as BMW Business Radio

BM53 is 'world' model, some include US Sirus tuner.
BM54 is for Europe, includes UK traffic info tuner.

But you don't have to wade through this mess, its all been done by this company -

AND they ensure the firmware matches.

Also look at the wiki (top, right hand side of nearly every page in forum) for sticky solutions.
