TV Picture gone awol!

Not that I use it very much but noticed recently that the picture on the TV of my 2010 TDV8 has gone even though the sound quality of each channel is perfect. This all possibly happened when I connected up the wiring loom of a tow bar I put on but is this clutching at straws as nothing was really disturbed by the TV tuner. Sorry for my electrical stupidity but are there separate connectors for the picture and the sound to the dash? I dont have a dvd player to test this source and I dont have headrest screens to test them eiither. The dual vision screen definitely used to work fine and the screen is perfect for all other functions. Finally no error codes flag up on the IID Tool.
Any easy pointers?
Cheers
T

As far as I'm aware, the TV picture/sound is all transmitted over the fibre optic MOST loop, so no separate connections for picture and sound.

Do you get any TV picture in the small preview box before you enlarge it to the full screen, or nothing at all?

the tv picture normally goes blank when the FF is in motion or the gears are not in park.....

unplug the tow electrics and see what happens...maybe the FF needs to be told there are now tow electrics via the iidtool.. ... - .- -.

But if you have a DualView screen, you should still be able to watch in DualView mode, from the passenger's seat?

Have you tried leaning over/checking from the passenger side?

Towbar unplugging made no difference (though plug was a bit moist due to the couple of inches of water sat sloshing around the spare wheel!). Anyway not to worry as never really use it but will try to check more once I get a chance. Cheers guys
