I have a LG V30 and the battery will easily go for 2 or 3 days in medium to heavy use ( providing you keep the "always on display ) switched off .

Just looked at reviews of the app with ios and Android Bill....pretty damning I'd say!

I don't think it's a great idea to come on this forum, there seems to be so much negativity with the car, not just apps but lots of other things (steering wheel switches, seats, Duo Pro etc) which should not be happening with a £100k car.

SNIP people's expectations are far higher (no bad thing there!) or that LR really is losing the plot:

Negativity,
I feel we should have a thread that is full of constructive criticism.... on apps, I said the other day JLR may do better
`to just supply a screen and we all just connect our phones with our own apps. Now that’s supposed to assist, along with the comment about why raise their cost of production with options , just throw all the toyz in, the production/stocking saving and reduction in cost for the toys as mass produced will help/if not pay for the toyz
But constructive criticisms are only helpful if JLR actually read them... so perhaps I shouldn’t bother.

I have been lucky with my (only 3) FFRR’S, I always buy a little while after major changes, so they have had time to get it right. My only major real complaint being the smaller diesel tank!

For 100k. Expectations must be high Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

At the end of the day Bill, I suppose there are just as many niggles with other expensive cars as with LR.

I might have been lucky with mine, but had I had problems, I'd still buy LR because I like them! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Not sure LR Customer Service is as good as it was though. All LR cars from 1984
2021.5 Vogue SE D300 Carpathian Grey
2018 Vogue SE British Racing Green GONE

I think JLR May be overwhelmed by success.. so customer services have more people to deal with , if you double your sales you must double your enquiries

Hey ho onwards and upwards

Everything working just fine on my new VSE, except "InControl Apps" which doesn't recognise the Google Pixel2 properly. The phone is brilliant so I don't want to change it to an iPhone. LR apparently know of the problems with the compatability and are "working on it" according to my dealer.

Anyone got any further experience with the Pixel 2 phone?

Now find out that Spotify doesn't work properly(won't access playlists!!) with my Pixel 2 so may well have to take a hit and change back to iPhone 8.

Does InControl work (Router/Apps inc Spotify)with an iphone 8 ok?
