Picture of the new Burr Ash veneer trim. Very subtle. It'd recommend it for anyone who doesn't like the wood, but wants a change from black.

Here you go, dirty already!

Nice touch is the night rider style light swoosh as you turn it on. A big step up from my TDV6, much smoother. 34k better than a TDV6 Vogue? Probably not, but nice to have all the toys.

That's very nice, I do like those new wheels too but can't get on with those saggy seats, what's your opinion on them now you have them to sit on and look at?

I can't put a pic of mine dirty, too OCD for that
I like driving in the dark and watching the lights move around really spooky.
You are driving on main beam but only in areas you need it

Really nice!! I suppose it is Carpathian with shadow exterior pack like mine Very Happy . I will try to find and retrofit the shadow end grilles in the front bumper on my Vogue, hope it’s possible

Yep it's Carpathian with the Shadow Pack.

The seats are a little more conformtable and it's only the seat bases that don't look as good. The creasing, and there's not much on mine, seems to be a design feature to give the appearance of softness. I've seen similar on some high end Mercs. Overall they're 'okay' to my eyes. The seats feel higher up than before and warm up quicker, but that might be because my last car was a Vogue and the leather wasn't as soft. I can take or leave the massaging. That seems a gimmick.

Haven't really driven it enough to give an objective comparison to the TDV6. I can now live with the stop start now as it's barely noticeable. There was an annoying judder on the TD. On tick-over the engine isn't audible with the Windows up. I went for this engine for refinement and it's got that.

Driving wise I'll comment later - even though it's got more torque than my old one it seems to hunt for gears at low speed a little more, but that could be just me not adapting yet. Seems a lot more sensitive to throttle inputs which has caught me out a couple of times. It's fast but there's no drama so the speed warnings are useful.

The only thing that let me old Vogue down was the stereo. This one's on another level. The dual touch system is a work in process. There's are too many setting options in too many places - as if they've developed each screen independently. For example, you can have the same album artwork displayed on all 3 screens at once. They need to centralise the settings.

Overall I'm pleased with it. Maybe more body roll than I expected coming from a TDV6, but I don't mind that.
