Same issue. Was your previous phone android or apple? Maybe be an IOS issue. 2011 RR Autobiography 4.4 TDV8 |

I’ve only got an iPhone 6s but have had erratic connection problems - pot luck whether it connects to BT or not. The call quality is reasonably ok when it does connect.

Happened with old 6 as well as the x, just think the car has a time of the month, usually it's better the second time, kind of like sex really... |

I have this issue with an iPhone 8 in 2010 car but sometimes it’s fine, don’t get the issue in my dads 2016 RRsport so i’ve put it down to a date/compatibility issue, iPhone 7s was fine though 2009(10MY) 3.6 TDV8 Vogue

Same here. It is really annoying. The first day I paired my IPX to my '08 TDV8 it seemed to work fine but afterwards it's a nightmare. It makes a crackling noise on both ends and I tried several options to fix as unpairing the phone, resetting settings on the phone etc. but no go. I tried with my friends brand new Samsung Galaxy S9+ and it's crystal clear. So the bluetooth module is fine and the problem is with IPX. I guess it could be fixed with a new IOS update but we should wait. I searched some sites regarding this topic and it happens on some US-spec Honda's and Toyota's also so its said that Apple is aware of it and will be making an IOS update to fix it. Well all we can do is to wait. |

do we have any idea whether there is a fix for this yet. Really annoying when trying to make calls in the car at the mo. Must be a software conflict somewhere. The IPx works fine in the D4 but not in the FF so it must be something between the specific bt module and the phone..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
