A ceramic coating gives the car added protection.

If you live somewhere out in the sticks (like I do), and so the car gets plastered with mud etc and gets light scratches from thistles etc down country lanes it is worth protecting.

If I lived somewhere which was a little less rural I don't think I'd bother. Never have before, but I thought it'd be worth it having shelled out so much money.

You r right about feeling the need to take it somewhere else for paint correction.
Sure I have said this before but the majority of owners don't give a monkies about how good the paintwork is, they won't spray foam it, double bucket wash it and now the best bit blow dry it ( I must be mental). They will send it throgh a car wash and won't worry about swirls marks etc.
What I will say now this has been done it will save me time and money in the future.

The gesture tailgate takes some getting used to, personally can't be that bothered shaking my leg under the back of car but each to there own.

Loners gutted about your car, hope u get it back soon.
