I saw it. If he hadn't just beaten the Ferrari round Donnington I would be irritated, but it was obviously supposed to be ironic or something?

We are rather amused having just watched Top Gear. Laughing

I bought my wife a new Yeti and we collected it on the 1st September and we really like it. Six month waiting list! Shocked

It was one of the contributing reasons to selling the FFRR. I only used it for work as we always use the Yeti at weekends now. That's an expensive work hack you only use alone.

We all know the FFRR is better. But for the money there is nothing I've found to beat the Yeti. Thumbs Up

Really really not a fan of the looks of the yeti -Fiat Multipla for the masses but bang for buck it's certainly a great buy.

Nasty plastics abound but surprisingly good build quality.

Just my opinion and disregarding practicality etc etc. Tbf with a 6 month wait if you snagged one early you could probably drive it for a few months and make your money back.

Anyhoo; flame away!

No need to flame.
The looks are a personal thing. We like them, nothing like the original Fiat Multipla.
Just curious if you have actually driven one with the ref to nasty plastics, and how long the test drive was.
Because our car doesn't have any nasty plastics in my opinion. It has the kind of feel (not in FFRR league of course) of a car that costs a good 5 to 10k more than it did.
Ours was 16k, including the 7 speed auto, back and front sensors, cruise control etc... absolute bargain.
The only cars I think are better cost about 25k+.

How did you guess? Laughing
All the awards it's won (a lot!) plus not getting flamed on Top Gear has them all jumping up and down. Thumbs Up

Yeah TBF test drive was only about 10 miles or so when we had one delivered for the office.

Agreed about the crazy value for money. We even have a couple of decently specced Octavias and they were about 19k so you definitely got a real bargain.

Have to say I've got a Range Rover Sport courtesy car at the moment whilst mine is getting work done. 3468 miles and it has more creaks than the Skodas. On that: the MY2011 RRS IMHO is an improvement on the first one but feels more like an Audi than a RR that said it handles very well- I'd still pick a Disco over it though- round Cheshire and into Liverpool there's a big stigma attached to RRS and Q7.

Just my £0.02
Thumbs Up

Did anyone else look at the flattened Beetle and think "Ah. NOW it looks like a 911"?
