Hi guys, looking to find out first what is the best brand of oil and filter to buy to carry out a gearbox Service and secondly where is best to buy the oil and filter from? This is for a 2009 RR Vogue TDV8 which I believe has the newer 6 speed ZF box.

Just done my L322. Got original filter from Dan at Duckworths and oil from Opie Oils.

Advance factors do the meyle stuff which is suppossed to be zf lifeguard 6 eqivelant at about £10 per litre and the filter etc too. Smith and allan do a 20 litre equivelant on ebay for about £95 which would do 2 flushes to get more old out! Some people will say only use lifeguard 6 but theres lots of debate about it especially if you go a google search but those two options seem to be regarded as suitable alternatives but please check yourself!
