I gather there were a few changes to the my2010 cars. Would a mar 09 be the new model or not and how do I tell?
Thanks

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Baltic Blue

A quick way :
If it has got the rotary gear selector and 8speed gearbox it is the later 4.4tdv8 model.

Unlikely I'd have thought. Check the VIN - digit 10 is the model year. 9 for 09 and A for 10.

It's not a blue 3.6 Vogue you're looking at by any chance?

Its a 9 so not the new model.
It is (a blue 3.6 Vogue) as it happens. Anything I should know?

That's the one. I went to view it this afternoon and I've put a deposit down on it. Should be collecting tomorrow morning all being well...

Quite excited Smile

It definitely looks dated inside compared to the MY11/12 ones I've been looking at but I prefer the older front end.

There are a couple of 4.4 TDV8s at Evans Halshaw in Gloucester and one in Coventry but honestly, they are totally hopeless when it comes to selling them. They've lost the service history on the two I was interested in.

There is one in Gloucester on hold for me which seemed like an honest enough car (see my other posts) and I did manage to track down the bit of service history that was missing so if you're interested, drop me a PM.

Well done. That one was a newer car than I was looking at but the miles are a bit higher. The black one at EH in Bham, seems very cheap. I like the red one in Edinburgh but they won't move it down here.
Which is the gloucester one? I'd prefer a VSE as I'd like the rear screens
Hope tomorrow goes well.

Yes the one in Coventry seems v cheap and I enquired about it fully intending to make a trip up there. However they couldn't find the service history on their system and "would have to get someone to check" and call me back. That was yesterday morning and still waiting to hear.

The one they're holding in Gloucester isn't showing on their website at the moment as it's being held for me. I've told them I don't plan to go ahead so it will probably appear on the website again soon. It's an early 2012 car on a 61 plate with 67k miles on it. It was up at just over £18k but again, they don't have the service book, just a scan of some of the pages Sad.
