That is actually quite witty and made me smile. I'm sure we can all take a bit of edgy banter, but there is a certain type (you see this a lot on Pistonheads) who genuinely dislikes "4x4 tanks", largely because most people who drive them don't "need" such a vehicle.
I don't "need" a FFRR; I bought it because I wanted a big, wafty, luxury, high up car. Some people can't accept that though. Although they are quite happy if you have a Porsche 911, or any Aston Martin, or a Yamaha R1, or a horse. Such people can't see beyond their own prejudices, but hey.......
Also, it's hard not to look smug when you're driving the best all-rounder in the world, and you can shop at Pike's Peak Waitrose if you wish!

My wife’s old 110 expedition was always dubbed the “Sainsbury's exploration vehicle” by many of our friends... BUT! If you ever tried driving that thing on a motorway for 50+ miles! You would understand why it never went much further than the village Whistle Whistle Whistle

With all that said though, i took the day off on Friday and ferry’d NHS staff in and out of our local community hospital, some of our local GP’s to & from work and even took the chef to work at a local’s pub!

They are not always used for their true potential but as Mr Clarkson once said, “i wear a watch that is waterproof to a gazzillion meters, WHY? because i like to know if i wore it in the shower one day, it would be fine”

Brilliant Craig such a great act of community well done to you and any others who did similar snow taxi work to keep essential services running.
