Viscous fan removal

I'm struggling to remove my fan off the FF. Should I be undoing clockwise (if I'm facing the engine from the grill)? Workshop manual says left hand thread.

If so, it must be extremely tight. __

Yes, I have followed that one. It says LH thread. I'm undoing clockwise but it just wont budge. __

j-rov. Let me know how you get on. As I need to take mine off in the spring. I did attempt with the correct tools, but felt VERY tight, as you are experiencing.
I may add some additional bar to the spanners in an attempt to increase the leverage. Sad

It doesn't matter if it's LH or RH thread, it always undoes in the same direction that the fan spins. Ron B. VK2OTC
