A further couple of questions.

When you swap to winter wheels, do they have tpms stems fitted too ?

If so, what do you need to do to register them,if anything ?
(I assume the car stores a second set of ids or something)

If not,does the car bleat about no tpms detected or something ?

My car tells me every time I get in it that it's set to light load pressures.
Do I tell it I am on winter tyres or something ?

Wintrac here as well in standard 255/50/20 and they are unreal.. last week we were heading across 5/6inch high frozen snow in Scotland and then last week it’s been out in the snow down little used roads to stables etc and not even a flash of traction control.

What you notice the most is the stopping distance, on normal tyres if finds grip and accelerated but doesn’t stop too great, on winters it’s obviously not like dry tarmac but it’s very impressive!

We run them for maybe 6 months of the year Oct - March, plus it keeps the road salt of the nice set

Please can someone provide pictures of available 255 55 20 winter tyre options.
I can’t see many options in that size.

If you go to www.ownerinfo.landrover.com and then search for winter tyres you should get the list of LR homologations of the various different sizes. Having noted the details you should be able to search against the various products and see what they look like. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Thanks but they only list 255 50 20, and not 255 55 20.
I am just considering my options because my existing winters are getting near the end of their life.
