United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Based on the spec above, my 2011 VSE has all the toys the 2012 AB has - just without the extra leather and ceiling vanity mirrors.

. Cheers, Greg

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Supercharged 5.0 SC V8 Stornoway Grey

As far as I could workout, the difference between Vogue SE and AB is fairly minimal in the 2011/2012 model years!

Having looked through the brochures you sent me Greg, and various other ones on here, the only differences seem to be the type of leather used (semi aniline on AB), how much leather goes in the car (additional dash, door cards and ceiling in AB?), adaptive cruise control on the AB, adaptive headlights on the AB and maybe heated wing mirrors on the AB?!

Not exactly a huge list of "extras" to my mind and no really fancy toys, just a few very subtle upgrades...

....my (2011) VSE's got either standard or optioned up:
- adaptive cruise
- heated wing mirrors
- dimming wing mirrors
- heated/cooled seats
- but I don't think it has adaptive headlights.

so aart from the leather has everything the 2012 AB's got.

It's hard to track options when you're buying secondhand. Dealers pull from auto-fill websites and don't really even know what they've got. Eg mine's also got 1200w stereo but the dealer didn't list it.

When I was in buying mode I'd get used to looking at the pics for little details like small little steering wheel controls for the adaptive cruise, the HD symbol on the speaker grilles (if there was a pic close enough), the two vs three dials in the rear console, the heated/cooled seat dials next to the clock, the dual view button on the radio.

If you can get the VIN you can also get the build sheet off topic. See here: http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic46376.html

. Cheers, Greg

United Kingdom

My last L322 VSE 2011 bought new had everything an AB had apart from the additional leather roof lining and dash. I specifically bought it instead of the Westminster which was missing a significant amount from the VSE spec and especially the seats, which in the Westminster to me we're a disappointment. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Don't forget the heated/cooled reclining rear seats, and rear screens plus cordless headphones and remote.

The westies I looked at didn't have these, and neither did all of the ABs, so would expect these to be options on VSEs too.

Oh, and I think there is a difference in the front seats. The AB has memory passenger, the VSE doesn't (at least not standard). Too many toys, not enough time

Electric reclining heated/cooled rear seats.... Got those too. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
I noticed those were std on the 2012 AB. Option on the 2011 AB though.
My seats are memory seats (both fronts)

. Cheers, Greg

A good question. I wrote a blog post about it:

Range Rover Autobiography seems to be a step above the Westminster and features a full leather dash and more leather all around including headliner after 2010. They are so closely appointed its difficult to say one is better, Westminster’s seem to have more wood, Autobiographies more Leather. Range Rover... continued here: http://offroadrover.com/buying-and-selling...stminster/

The leather on the AB should be higher quality semi-analine, whereas on the westy it will be contrasting but of the same type as a SC as I recall. The westys may be a bit more rare but they aren't like an H&H or something of that nature. OffRoadRover.com An American Western Range Rover Off Road Blog

So as far as I can make out, in terms of standard items the list goes;
Vogue
Westminster
VSE
Autobiography

As the Westminster only really had the upgraded 1200W sound system.

I tried to write a blog post about this too, the sorting of the trims here:
