When you say Torx bolts, are they 12 pointed bolt heads rather than torx? If so, a normal socket (12 pointed obviously!) will fit.

A 12 sided socket might welll do the trick if you have some to try. Failing that you can get female torx socket sets with most sizes on amazon for a few £'s normally going up to e24. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue |

yep a standard socket will fit, but you wont be able to put the same torque through the bolt as a E socket.
