frozen

Been away for a few days and came back to the car on Heathrow carpark. I had to drive back from Heathrow with no drivers side screen wash, it was working at one point then stopped

Washer system frozen? no water from right hand nozzle onto drivers screen, Im putting it down to weak redymix screen wash at the moment frozen in the pipe to the RH jet. They are supposed to be heated jets so its unlikely to be that. I bought and replaced the drivers side only to find there was a difference. no water out of either side.... and I've just topped up the screen wash..

So tonight it has frozen both sides......

And the bleeding passenger door lock froze in the open position....Kettle of boiling water sorted it out, but most likely it will freeze again..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Def fun driving home tonight. So stable - the weight of these things seems to push down on the powdery snow we've got here in London. On a completely safe section got it drifting a little though. 👍😀. Took a bit of encouragement with the throttle but even with me trying to get it to break loose it was not over or understeering very impressed with road holding even under these conditions. Legendary vehicles.

. Cheers, Greg

Wish we had enough snow so I could go out to play. What do I put here then?

Happened to me once on the way to a ski holiday - I’ve gone OTT on low temperature screen wash ever since - like -40 or lower rated

Might get have solutions the frozen door cable, we shall see. Took the little grommet out just above the lock mechanism and doused the insides with WD40. Hopefully this will displace any water causing the mechanism to freeze There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Ok last night the snow was fluffier and it was a bit more fun than tonight.

Came to a junction at 15mph if that - not fast at all, looked like there was grit down - hit the brakes early enough I thought but and the anti lock brakes started juddering and kept juddering pointlessly whilst I kept going like an ice skate - right into the junction.

Luckily the Addison Lee coming at me (who had right of way) saw me struggling and meanwhile I turned the wheels towards the kerb to try to use that to stop me and start pumping the pedal. Stop in the end. Eventually.

So the snow's fine. Just watch out for black ice guys. Shocked Shocked Shocked

. Cheers, Greg
