So, just a word to the wise. If you use Photobucket, and everything seems slow it's all the trackers and beacons they use on their site. 61 I found this morning (Ghostery), all of which take time to load.

Now, why is that an issue? Every one of these things is trying to either sell you stuff, track what you do online so they can sell you stuff, or actually place targeted ads in many of the pages you visit.

If (like me) you value privacy you might wish to choose another service which is less intrusive. I've just closed my PB account and moved all my stuff to Onedrive.

Ghostery is also well worth installing on your browser as it stops this junk in its tracks.

I haven't got a clue about what you said but do you think a battery reset and turn from lock to lock would help...  Pete

I liked Ghostery, but Manu sites just won't run with Ghostery. I think it's usefulness depends on the websites you visit. However, if you value your privacy, maybe you don't want to visit those sites and it gives you the option.

I liked OneDrive until the 'free' storage suddenly wasn't free anymore. The bait and switch really bugged me, so my OneDrive is now on an HD.

Yeah, Microsoft can be just as bad in different ways but I get the Onedrive with my Office 365 subscription so it's advert free. I also encrypt the contents to prevent MS data mining on it.

But what Photobucket are doing is disgraceful.

I have a Pbase account that I pay for. ($23/pa)

I dont know if this fix has been on here before but i have put it on some other forums i read and this does work,

Chrome and Firefox both have an app to fix the Photobucket hotlink problem. I use Photobucket and have checked both versions out
The fix needs to be used by the OP as well as the reader to work
If nothing else, you can at least see what was there and re-upload it to a trusted 3rd party hosting site.
