Just bought my first RR after having 4 Discos. It is a 2015MY SDV8 AB.

Does it come with park heating remote as standard? The garage advert said it does but the salesman said it doesn’t. There was no remote fob handed over when we took delivery of the car. Should there be anything on the screen display which clearly indicates it does have it?

To confuse matters even more Topix says ‘PARK HEATING W/REMOTE CONTROL’. I’m hoping this means with remote control rather than no remote.

Remote Park Heating is standard on 2015MY Autobiography so tell your dealer to order you a new remote. I think pairing the remote will be the same procedure as on the old model.

It does wind me up when dealers try to fob you off with false information!

Picked up the fob from the dealer last week. They paired it to the vehicle for me. It is just sooo lovely to return to the car in the underground car park at work and find it toasty warm inside.

Was the salesman sacked for knowing all about what he was selling?

Surely there would be none left if they were all sacked for “knowing all about what they are selling”

My remote heating / cooling ( ventilation only ) works by the Android app and its great , but should I also have a separate remote and how would the remote work if you were a few miles away from the car ? RR is a late 2015 Hybrid .
