Sounds like voltage issues. Charge or replace the battery and check alternator output etc. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

Sorry to hear you are having problems.

I had a similar thing recently. I had the transmission refurbished because one morning I reversed out of the drive, and putting it in DRIVE, I went nowhere.

Afterwards, I would sporadically get an error saying Trans Failsafe Program.

It went back 4 times (in total) and they opened the whole transmission up again, and found nothing.

In the end, they checked the oil in the transfer case, and it was not very nice.

I have changed the oil, and since then (touch wood), I have not had any problems.

It might be an idea to check that because it is a cheap fix if it solves the problem.

Sorry to hear it still isn't sorted!!

When you say you still don't have the car back, do you mean it has been at the garage all this time?

What has actually been done (so far)?

I am shocked that it isn't sorted.

If you were here in Lux, I would recommend a chap, but it is rather a long way from Ireland.
