OK OK I believe you have done your research well and this may well be a current trend that I was unaware of.
I really have not got the time to research this phenomena as I rarely take in LHD cars other than American imports.

Its not current, ive been buying LHD cars from the uk for years. It goes the other way on stuff under 15-20k .

So we need to come out to Biarritz in a Cheap LHD from the UK and then come back from Biarritz in a cheap RHD from Spain / France.. multiple winner although I'm sure there must be a big tax issue Very Happy 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

The Tax is easy, you find someone who is not a resident of the country, put the car in there name in the uk. Bring it to chosen couny. They apply for residency, you are aloud to bring your current car with you. Then you buy it from them !

Incidently, the TAX is €6800 for my car, take into account the current prices of the same car out here (if you can find one with the spec) and im still about 10k better off. Its a joke ! 2007 TDV8 Vogue SE
