There is a little bit of technique required to get the sensors out using the screwdriver method. You can't prise the bezel out, you have to get the blade slightly in then use the flat of the blade to 'lever' the bezel forwards. The bezel will move a little bit before it comes out of the housing. It will leave a little bit of a mark on the outer edge of the bezel until you get the hang of doing it, which is why I tried the hot glue and nail head method instead. This leaves no marks on the sensor or bezel once the glue has been removed.
P.S. Use this method only with a hot glue dispensed from a hot glue gun, don't use any other type of glue as it will wreck the sensor.

I will try this weekend to put together a 'How To' for both methods, weather and SWMBO's demands permitting!! Rolling Eyes

if the sensor is going to be replaced why not put a self tapper screw in it and pull the sensor and bezel out.. ... - .- -.

That's a fine solution if you know 100% it's the sensor that's knackered, but what if you're swapping sensors around to track down a problem, i.e. with the wiring loom?
I recently replaced a 'faulty' sensor with a new one, cos the IID tool said it was kaput, but even with a new sensor in, I still have a problem which is down to a chaffed wire on the wiring loom. Have kept and tested the 'knackered' sensor in a different socket and it works fine. Means I now have a spare good sensor which I can put in place of the next one that fails, or even use it as a tester for the next time I have a PDC problem.

Edit. It's also best if the sensor is levered out, not pulled/yanked as it's really easy to damage the wiring.

hi guys
i will sort that out when i got the new sensors.
Strangely today all worked fine but only 1 time...
after that, back to the long beep....
i decided i will get the bumper out to check all that correctly..
