Help from the Scots please Aberdeen way.

Does anyone recognise this place? Looks like a driveway dealer maybe.

Odd, the whole page with 6 or so cars has disappeared. It was in Kintore just outside Aberdeen. Amongst other things there was a rimini red tdv8.

ETA - reappeared

Yeah, I looked last night and there were loads of cers, all taken in the same place (country road/car park), now it’s gone. Maybe Gumtree pulled the ad as it was a dealer?

They’re all individually listed now.

They are but they still listed as trade. I can't find any other info except a detailing co with the same mobile. Basically its a private sale, but its a hell of a trek!

Not sure I follow, but Gavin has presented a valid concern!

Bow down I haven't heard that for a loooong time, and to avoid any confusion, it's not a reference to warm footwear Rolling with laughter

To the OP, although there is a town called Kintore, most people use it to refer to the area. The pictures are not taken in the town itself, but could indeed be from a dealer working out of his own property outside the town.

Having grown up less than 5 miles from Kintore I have been trying to place the photos - it looks like its one of the old roads left when the new bypass went in. Not been up there for 15 years though so doesn't help the OP though. Current Fleet:-

I'll say it.

Walk away, and don't bother.

If your spidey senses are saying "hmmm, not sure about this", then just walk. there will be others to buy. V8 or else ...

It's a shame. It's exactly what I'm after, ticks every box, but at this distance I need to be absolutely sure as its a 9 hr drive home and spare time is not in great supply.
It could work out fine and if it were a couple of hours away it would be different.
Why do these things always come up as far away as is physically possible?
So anyone got a VSE tdv8 in rimini?

Of course Aberdeen does have an airport that’s pretty well serviced, so you could fly up and drive back, should it live up to your expectations. You can also get a RAC check done before you commit to anything. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Very nice FF, Quite a rare colour combination, I’ve only even seen one that colour and it looked great.

Offer him a small refundable deposit and ask him to meet you half way?

If it’s not a described - no sale.

Worth a try?

Another option may be to ask a local forum member to have a look on your behalf at the things you want to check?

They could then walk around the car giving you a call to discuss what they see, but again, there''s no substitute for going in with your own eyes.

Thanks everyone. It really is a pain its so far away.
If anyone fancied a gander that would be great but its a lot to ask.
I wondered about the local LR dealer - do they do an inspection along the lines of the 111 point check porsche do?
I keep reading about AA/RAC checks and they seem variable in their effectiveness and certainly the AA site says no to Aberdeen.
