does anyone knows if it is possible to remove the front parking sensors on a 2006 vogue, without removing the front bumper
i have possibly two of them not working, and i must admit i would be glad if i had not to remove all the stuff.....

so..it seems no one has the solution..
sensors ordered ( adaptable not genuine,too much expensive !! 145€ each!).
i will remove the bumper so.
it seems it is easier than i thought.

I'm not sure about this but if the sensors are scrap you could try drilling a 1mm hole in a sensor and screwing in a a very tight self tapping screw half in and pulling the sensor and plastic surround out of the bumper. Certainly what I would have a go at before I removed the bumper.
Be interested to know the result if you try it.

Outer sensors can be got at if front part of inner wheelarch is unscrewed and "peeled" back

Inner sensors do require plastic bumper removed, but only requires removal of grille, engine cover screws, two screws above the tow hook and 4/5 screws along the top of the bumper. Appears is clipped on around the sides, which no doubt means some of the clips will break on removal  .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

I have used two methods to remove the sensors from my '05 TD6 front and rear bumpers.

1. Use a very thin bladed jewellers screwdriver to slip behind the edge of the sensor cover and pop the sensor out. This may leave a very slight mark on the cover, which I sanded down and when the sensor was replaced in the cover, just popped the cover back into the bumper. You couldn't see the mark where I'd used the screwdriver, so was a good result for me.

2. Put a six inch nail head onto the sensor and use a hot glue gun to put a large glob of glue on the sensor and nail. Once it's hardened, get a block of wood (to act as a pivot) and place in on the bumper next to the sensor. Use pliers or a mole grip to grip the nail shaft and gently lever the sensor out of the bumper, pivoting the pliers on the wood. DON'T pull on the pliers/mole grips, as if the sensor pops out, it may damage the wiring/connectors. Remove the now hardened hot glue with nail from the old sensor, remove the cover around the sensor, fit new sensor into the cover, connect the wires (don't forget to do this!!) and refit cover/sensor into bumper.
Either method works and doesn't require the bumper being removed.

i have a small doubt
my FF is a 2006 facelift...
not really sure the sensors are the same than older ones ?
are they plugged in a plastic surrond? Current: L322 TDV8 4.4

All the parking sensors fit into a plastic surround cover, as the actual sensor is the same for front or rear bumpers. The covers (some would call them bezels) are moulded to fit a particular position on the bumper, i.e. front inner and front outer covers will be slightly different due to the curvature of the bumper.
Have a look on the bumper where the sensor is and you will see where the bezel/cover is. All sensors fit into the bumper (both front and back bumpers) from the outside of the bumper.

tried this morning to extract one of the sensors with thin blade jewellers screwdriver..
no success..it seems to be strongly retained in the bumper..
only result i get is some scratches on the bezel ..
so i think i'll go for removing the bumper..[/img] Current: L322 TDV8 4.4

In the instructions for fitting the front nudge bar , removal of the bumper is required to transfer the parking sensors
