I'm not sure about this but if the sensors are scrap you could try drilling a 1mm hole in a sensor and screwing in a a very tight self tapping screw half in and pulling the sensor and plastic surround out of the bumper. Certainly what I would have a go at before I removed the bumper.

I have used two methods to remove the sensors from my '05 TD6 front and rear bumpers.

All the parking sensors fit into a plastic surround cover, as the actual sensor is the same for front or rear bumpers. The covers (some would call them bezels) are moulded to fit a particular position on the bumper, i.e. front inner and front outer covers will be slightly different due to the curvature of the bumper.

In the instructions for fitting the front nudge bar , removal of the bumper is required to transfer the parking sensors
