United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Indus Silver

Ordered from this seller thanks to this post Smile

Arrived today.

And all fitted with ease except for:

Mirror Puddle Lights
Vanity Mirror lights

... because I don't have a small blade screwdriver to hand. Will do them when I do.

Only one I probably won't do is the glove box because people say it's a pig of a job.

Thanks for the link, Stacker Thumbs Up

LEDs

I bought a set of LEDs for my 08 Vogue TDV8 3.6 from Lightec Autostyle Ltd on eBay for £29.99 posted. All OK except mirror puddle lights where I had to solder the provided resistor across the 2 wires to lamp holder. Full instructions for removing the lamps is contained in your handbook and a plastic trim tool or normal small electrical screwdriver is advised.
Remember some of the bulbs are polarity conscious so turn them round if they don't work first time.

I bought this kit for my 2012 AB:

It's great. And having now done the mirror puddle lights and vanity mirror ones, I'm a very happy bunny Smile

Was a little nervous about doing the mirror ones. But followed this video and all good:

One thing ... if you have rear vanity mirrors, you'll also need to buy the extra 4 bulbs (same seller):

England 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

Just to continue this thread - I've just tried to fit the kit that GAC23 linked to in the previous post. Started with the roof console (reading light / main overhead above driver); getting the unit off was much less obvious than I thought (there's two 8mm hex screws in the sunglasses bit, then you have to lever off the whole unit, bit scary).

And then the supplied LED bulb is too wide for the hole, aargh! So I've no idea how you guys on this thread got those to fit. Perhaps your cars are a bit different from mine (mine's a 2011 TDV8 Vogue)?

I also tried two reversing LED's the other day (different Ebay seller) and they didn't fit either - they were about 4mm too long. Frustrating. I'll wait for Grofus to get some reversing bulbs that actually fit.

So now a question: can anybody point me towards a full LED interior bulb kit that will DEFINITELY fit a 2012 model year TDV8 Vogue? If such a thing exists, I'll attempt to write a walk through to help folk with fitting in future.

you dont have to remove the whole console, the light cluster can be levered off from the rear...you can then dismantle the cluster by undoing two small screws... ... - .- -.

Yes, it pops out.

But I didn't have to undo 2 screws after.

Sorry to hear it's not going smoothly for you.

Mine was easy - and I break into a sweat at the sight of a spanner. What do I put here then?

Bumping this thread.

Can anyone share their long term results and how their LEDs have held up? I'm very wary of purchasing any LED bulbs which aren't branded (e.g Philips, Osram). Most of the bulbs holders seem to be suitable to take a W5W LED except the vanity mirrors and mirror puddles. I previously fitted the Philips ones to my old Mercedes which I had for 4 years and they were faultless.

The kits I have seen on Ebay are:
Lightec Autostyle (seems the most genuine company)
SINCER
...the kit you all purchased from Bond Express
Powerful UK - not overly keen on filing down a multiplug, as it seems a bit of a bodge.

...and also just a cautionary note that depending on how generous your MOT station is, exterior driving lamps with LED bulbs fitted and are not LED fixtures are now failures (i.e numberplate lamps, reversing lights and side lights must now be incandescent bulbs as originally designed or, replaced by a complete LED fixture). 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

I had these:

... for 2 years without any problems. What do I put here then?
