Key Replacement - Help

Hi Everyone , 3 week's has passed since owning my vogue 2007 V8 TD - the only snag is it has only 1 key / Yesterday it threw up a error regarding the key immobiliser - the guy I purchased the car from has lost the spare key . . . My local dealer wants £240 / could anyone can point me in the right direction . . . ?
