Tried now on 3 x separate laptops - Windows 10 , Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 - all with the same results - i.e error code as previously stated ! Hacked off to say the least !!! |

Did the IID software come with an installer? Or did you just copy files and run. It sounds like it may not be installed correctly. |

Followed the link on the GAP website and after logging in followed their instructions - on all 3 laptops ! Sent an email to Patrick at GAP so hopefully will have a reply Monday/Tuesday. In the mean time I am seriously thinking of selling the IID Tool as it seems to be so much hassle to use ! I have a couple of Volvo's and have the VIDA-DICE diagnostics on a laptop and it is so simple to use and comprehensive (its hat the main dealers use). Shame a Land Rover one cannot be had for a similar price ! |

The Bluetooth one is really the way to go.

Having only bought a BT IID last week, Patrick at GAP is incredibly helpful and responsive, so I'm sure he'll help you work through any installation issues. I haven't tried using the PC software, but have used his firmware updating software, and that worked perfectly. |
