United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Tonga Green
High millage 4.2 supercharged.

Just won a range rover 2006. 4.2 supercharged on eBay. Paid £5000 for it. Going to collect it this weekend. It's got 193000 miles on it. 3 owners full dealer history to 135000 miles. It's had a re-con gearbox over five years ago. Loads of history with current owner oil change every year gearbox oil change supercharge belts etc. I only plan on doing 5000 miles a year max. Should I be worried about this high millage, what millage are these engines capable of. What things should I look out for before handing over money? Any help and info would be much appreciate.

It might be fine but it’s a lot of miles , no idea what the engines are good for ..
There’s a member here selling one. Probably cheaper road tax than the 2006 too ... and a lot less miles for not much more money

For reference I bought a straight clean one for not much more and less than 90k miles , full history

Check everything , that’s every single thing , works ... no noises etc , good guide in the wiki. 4.2 SC - sold , now bought back

I have done over 90k in mine in 4 years so it is on 155k better one that has been used regularly than one that has been standing around - in my opinion
