Ducati project bike ...
rebuilt uprated, lightened motor and stripped back aiming for 100hp and as close to 150kg as I can get

‘75 Honda MT250 Elsinore , had one as a kid and this is getting a full restoration

Passed the little ginger scoot on to a mate recently who loves it , still have the 300GTS

Some nice bikes there.
I am a bike nut too. Basically anything with an engine
I started riding before I was 10 and never been without a bike.

Interesting to see the ST3 up the list, I had an ST4S for 6 years, replaced in 2010 with a new 1200 multistrada. Changed that for a newer one in December 13. This is our main touring bike, nothing else appeals, although the BMW XR is a close call.

My other road bike is an 08 R1 (pre flat plane crank). Doesn't get ridden as much as the multi does everything I need of it in comfort.

I have lots of others too, covering off road, vintage, veteran, etc

Here is one of the classics , a 1972 ducati RT450 (one of 5 ducatis I own)

Is that a local trail? Will be looking for some gentle off road trails when I finish the old Honda 4.2 SC - sold , now bought back

It isn't a green Lane, I was observing at a trial on land at Deepcut, near Frimley.
Join your local TRF. My local one meets in Ripley. They have summer rides down most of the local lanes.

Your Honda looks lovely. You going to Telford this coming weekend for the classic off road show ? Too many toys, not enough time

Well , I was going with Surrey😀
So yep that’s local enough - familiar with the nearest BOATs, but not looking for anymore than a Sunday morning bimble on the old girl.. when things dry out , but TRF evening could be on the cards in spring

Found this pic from 1982ish

225 malossi , mocheck exhaust ( one off) biturbo suspension , cost almost 2000 stg for the bits and pieces, good for 105 mph , once , then seized , px'ed it for a 350lc and never looked back.

Funnily enough, I’ve got a period advert for the TSS up on the wall by my desk! Such a shame that it was such a flawed engine. They were also just about putting a 650 “Tiger Trail” into production, beating the BMW GS to market. I’ll wager the the last bike to leave was a Bonnie though...
