To be fair,I bought my sc from Evans Halshaw,I paid extra for a 2 year warranty that covers claims up to the value of the car, seemed good value (£700).

Hopefully won't need it though......

So was the warranty with Evans themselves or with a third party like warranty wise etc?
Thanks for the info.

When I bought mine I bought the Range Rover extended warranty and had a new gearbox on 99000 miles kind of handy as it ran out at 100k

Just came across this question, moments after just watching this link below - It's well worth a watch. This is 100k miles, and in my opinion a beautiful example

longmanh I think it's expensive. Replaced turbo sounds like bol***cks too. Prices for 4.4TDV8's are dropping easily below £20k now. A £23k would have to be very special. Even as a Westminster, which do command a bit more. You could get a 2011 Vogue SE loaded up with at least as many options as a Westminster - and similar miles for £18-£20k. Same engine etc. FYI The Westminster replaced Vogue and Vogue SE in the final year of the L322. So in 2012 it was just Westminster or Autobiog.

Look at this candy store:

The warranty is with Evans themselves.
I know they get a bit of flack,I guess every big dealer does, but I know what they spent on my car to get it prepped to my standard (high) and I know I've got a very good specimen, they did however promise a full service, later found out they didn't even changed a filthy £8 air filter element.

Just go in eyes wide open.

Has anyone bought a car from The Vogue Centre before please?

They have a couple of nice examples and seem to have good reviews.

If it's the Vogue Centre in Oldham you might want to read this thread.......

Thanks for the link.

So I think after all the looking so far, I really want a 2011 Vogue SE as I like the spec.
Then I think it's going to be either a black or grey exterior (not sure on white yet) with a light interior (probably Ivory) and genuine privacy glass (not aftermarket tints) as I hate seeing the heater

Mileage isn't as much of a concern but I'd like it to be as low as possible.

If that's Ultra Low Mileage at 78k on a 2012, I guess our 2012 at 16k is delivery mileage. Laughing 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

2016 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

I briefly looked at the first one back at New Year when I was looking for mine, but didn't drive it as the light interior didn't do it for me. I paid slightly less for my absolute mint condition 70k Sep 12 62 Westie although I did have to travel to the other end of the country for it.

Its a buyers market, if it doesn't quite feel right, walk away, there are plenty about but I wouldn't get hung up over discs and pads - gearbox and steering though yes, but drive plenty, then you will know a good one when you come across it. Current Fleet:-

Hey guys.

What are your thoughts on this one please:

The mileage is high but it looks like it's been well looked after.

I like it. Electric rear seats are not very common. Mine's got them and they're GREAT!
Price is a bargain. But reflects the mileage. But that's a LOT of car for 16 grand.
I also bought a high miler (107k miles) a year ago and no regrets. Or major problems. I only do 4-5k miles per year so works for me. I'll kind of 'catch up' if you know what I mean.
Check: Rear arches for rust. You 'll need to open the rear doors and inspect the metal seam with the door out of the way.
Check service history (ring Hunters if you can't see the invoices) - you'll be looking to see if the oil cooler's been replaced. And also the there is the 'turbo drain mod', you'll want to know that 's been done too. Cheers, Greg

I guess my biggest concern is resale value.

If I decide to sell in a year's time once I've put say 10,000 miles on her, will anyone want it?
