Remove the top cover, the air filter then you will need to loosten the ties for the wiring loom and move the loom to one side, the remaining airbox should then be removed by unbolting.

There is a page somewhere on the internet about doing this job, but as I'm on my laptop and a slow connection just now I can't look it up.

Your going to love this..

The air box will require reomoval of the injector harness and injectors to get the air box lower section off. I had this trouble when I replaced the turbo. The access from below is near on impossible to check the oil feed / return from the turbo.

Don't run it like that or you stand a good chance of killing the turbo if it does run dry not to mention everything else. I have a video on you tube that a search on TD6 Turbo and FFRR should reveal that shows 3 10 minute clips of the reassembly and issues I came across when refitting the turbo.

Here is a link to the youtube footage. If anyone finds another way that doesn't involve a dremmel I'd be pleased to hear of it Thumbs Up

watched your vid, i thought it was going to be like that, i'm gonna wait til it stops raining then check it out, thanks, i think i have found the problem, the vacuum pump seems to be the culprit, ill whip it off tomorrow and fit a new seal see if that helps 2002 td6 vogue, 06 supercharged facelift
