Disappearing radio, display screen (and indicator repeater)

Hi all, I am sure this must have been covered before, so apologies if my search missed a solution.

It is a few weeks since replacing the DSP amp in my 2004 V8 petrol, and now

the radio is switching off 3 mins after starting, followed by elements on the display menu one by one, until the Land Rover splash screen is all I could raise.
Indicators work but not the dash repeater and no indicator flash on unlocking, and no message panel on the dash.
Everything else works!

I have checked the DSP amp connections and all are fine (the audio well in the back is dry - no leaks),
done a 'hard reset?' touching the disconnected battery leads for 10secs and
left the battery disconnected for 2 hrs.

Has anyone had this problem - and cured it (without resorting to 'waiting and hoping that it cures itself')?

Many thanks,

Mike

Thanks Joe90 for the long thread on this.
Our FFRRs have a mind of their own as we know but I went to the car today (day 3) and the indicators flashed on unlocking and all is well again, everything working as normal even though it was still ill last night.
Did the hard reset need overnight to finish its work?
Perhaps the car just needed a good night's sleep so it could dream about working properly.
Anyway, my prescription is a hard reset and leave for 24 hours!
Many thanks
Mike
