I’m just returning home on the train after leaving my SVR at the Dealership that I’ve ordered my SVA Dynamic through

It is with a very heavy heart but I think I have made the right decision.

Onward and upward but the waiting begins. Looking at September at the moment for pick up at the factory. It was an 8 month wait originally for the SVR which was reduced to 6 months on pick up from Dealer but reading through the both forums it looks like it’s realistic that it will Be September.

Thank you all, especially DrF for your help and answering my questions , very much appreciated and I hope I can bring something to the forum in the future.

I must admit it’s been quite exciting in the order process, especially today. The Dealership went through everything with me and I’ve found that they have been totally transparent and thoroughly helpful compared to any of the Dealerships in South Wales I’ve used in the past and frankly are head and shoulders above them in customer service. They have been excellent throughout. They are based in Exeter, I’m not sure if I’m allowed to name them on the forum.

I’m now waiting for the appointment to the Design Suite in Oxford Road to Bespoke a few items which I’m really looking forward to as well.

I’ve had a bit of experience up at the factory with the tour and actually seen my SVR being built, signing part of the chassis and at the time I thought if I ever have the opportunity to have a car handed over at the factory I would definitely go for it so now I do with this SVA order.

No sir, i was lucky enough to go and do the factory handover thing with a journalist friend... They basically treated us as SVA handover customers like yourself and demonstrated the whole day to us... It was a real treat...

You certainly can talk about Matford

Oh right, great didn’t know that and probably in the hopefully near future there are going to be a lot of “ didn’t know that” coming from me as it’s my first full fat.

I’ve had all RRS’s in the past, 2.7 diesel, 4.2 Supercharged, 5.0 Supercharged and the crazy SVR, so everything which probably comes natural to you lads will be slightly new to me.

Yes, Matford Land Rover have been excellent. They had a 2018 Diesel FF Range Rover there so he was able to show me some of the new screen and dash features which were quite a wow 😮 and the detail he went through during the order process,such as showing me all the different screen processes he uses on his pc on the LR system. It was all new to me, hence the difference from the Dealerships in South Wales to Matfords. I had never seen the LR ordering system/process before. What another MASSIVE bonus point has been as well, is that when I’ve rang he has always either spoken to me straight away or got back to me before the end of that day.

Just to give you an example, I contacted SVO direct and they sent me an email saying that have spoken to the Dealership in Cardiff and to Head of Business and Head of Sales in Cardiff and they would get back to me by the end of the week. I’m still waiting and that was in August last year

Does anyone know lead times on new sv dynamic? My local dealer didn't know
They were also going to call me back re the availability of a 17 model that was showing available but that was 5 weeks ago

My order is in a “holding pool” ( order was made 6th Feb ) but the predicted pick up from Land Rover is September. I’m having some bespoke items done to the car and they’ve said it will only affect the order by a couple of weeks.

What spec did you go for?

I’ve ordered the SVA Dynamic as per the configurator build and I’ve been to the Oxford Road Design Suite at SVO, yesterday in fact, to add some bits and pieces of bespoke items and look at different paint options as well.

So at the moment the order is;

Spectral Blue-ChromaFlair gloss finish
Ebony/Cirrus interior with Ebony/Cirrus Quilted Seats
Executive Class Comfort-Plus rear seats.
All the non cost options
Carbon Fibre Engine Cover
Deployable Side Steps
Front and Rear Mud Flaps

Bespoke Items:
Stitched SVO Design in the headrests all round
Cirrus Leather Headlining
Unique illuminated door tread plates
Various Bespoke By SVO badging inside and out
Lambs wool over rugs
Veneers with pin striping and design
Individual designs on front bumper, Side shark fins

Sounds good. Have you seen the colour in the flesh? I have seen one and it was prettty green from some angles

Yes I’ve seen the colour, to be honest there was every colour you could think of there yesterday. I haven’t made a final decision yet
SVO are sending me build packs with high res pictures of the car with all the additions in the Spectral Blue and a colour my wife liked which was off the Premium Palette they had there.
These should be with me in 2 weeks.

I do like the Spectral Blue because there’s a bit of green in certain lights it’s quite similar to the British Racing Green with sparkles in it. But then in another light there’s seems to be blues and reds it’s all sorcery to me how it does that
