And your thoughts on the seats Dontmocktheafflicted? I sat in one back in December at the factory and wasn't sure if they seemed a bit too soft and lacked support in the base - It could have just been that it wasn't adjusted to my taste - What's your thoughts?

I found another video yesterday for anyone interested - I've actually ordered Ivory Leather, but I do love this Tan colour! (although not the stripey wood)

I really like the external matt accents (particularly the gills) - I have ordered mine in Black with body colour accents and think it will look super smart.

Hi Adam, to my knowledge there is no body coloured accents - It's either Silver or that sort of Matt finish.

I'm not sure if it's different if you've gone for some kind of "Black Pack" but from what I understand, they are the only options, and that's all I saw during my factory visit - I guess if it's not too late you could still change the spec if you so wished.

Another example here below:

Sorry, I should have been clearer - my car has the Matt contrast accents which I really like (I didn't order an AB simply because the option wasn't available on that model).

The seats feel softer, but again they’re an improvement over the previous ones.
I’ll put up a decent review later, but in the meantime, here’s some images

I’ve not had the chance to drive the car much, but here’s my thoughts on it so far.......

Pro’s
- New comfier seats
- Matrix headlights
- Meridian Surround Sound System (which bizarrely sounds better)
- Door mounted seat controls
- Hand gesture roof blind
- Twin Touchscreens (Including tillable top screen)
- New Infotainment Centre
- New steering wheel illumination and added controls
- Centre console storage compartment (below cup holders)
- Hand gesture roof blind
- Phone holder (between cup holders)
- New rear exhausts
- Magnetic lid for centre console cool box
- Hand gesture roof blind
- Rear door illumination
- Seat fold buttons in boot

Con’s
- No hidden storage compartment in front doors
- Wheels Available. (We had specced 21" 7 split-spoke 'Style 7001' with Light Silver Diamond Turned finish,
but once I saw them on the car, ended up keeping the wheels from my 3 month old MY2017 for the new car)
- More intrusive indicator noise
- Not being sure if the seats can be folded from the ‘Remote App’

It’s only my opinion, but if you liked the previous model, you should be more than happy with the new one.

Looks great and good review.

To add one more thing to the con list compared to before, on the US forum another member noted that in non-top spec models that the wood panels surrounding the vents near the doors don't go all the way to the windshield any more.

Easily missed but a cheeky way for LR to shave a few bucks. 2021 Mercedes G63 - Cardinal Red/Classic Red

Hodog16, Ta much. I hadn’t noticed that.
GAC23, I don’t think I’ll ever tire of the hand gesture roof blind.

It’s a very lovely car you have.

For those of us with no roof blind - leave alone a hand gesture one - I think a video is called for Laughing What do I put here then?

I was just about to say, you definitely like the hand gesture roof blind then!

Lovely looking car btw.

Can you spec those wheels on a 2018 model?
