Gents have a faint whine at 80 drive through and it disappears wondering if it could be rear wheel bearing or might it be rear diff ? |

What year model, there is a LR tech document for L322 2010-2011 with transfercase whine at about 100-120kph due to chain micro pixellation or some weird wording like that.. it is a very very faint whine..

Alas mine is older 2007 but it may well be the same thing - I first heard it in the summer whilst in france and hoped by now it would be louder or something would have failed I have done another 10k miles since and just the same |

My 2008 SC sport had that very whine as well, never got to figuring out which part had failed, but sold her after doing some 60k and the whine never got any louder....

It seems that the solution may be tied to the radio volume control |
