Locking fuel cap

I have a Lrrr vogue v8 td ,a fuel cap is not available for this model can anyone tell me if any other locking fuel cap off another make is compatible please ,many thanks Turbo1541

I've judt replaced ours with a BMW cap - which is the same fitting - based on older posts in the forum.
The retaining strap on ours had broken. Paul,

The caps were not lockable there is a plunger that locks the flap also think the cap has to have the nozzle to allow it to breathe not sure though - I left mine a few years ago at a petrol station and had to buy another think it was about 50 quid

I didn't realise it had a restraining strap until I read this and then checked mine. It had come adrift from the cap and had been tucked away by the previous owner. I'll reconnect it with a self-tapping screw.

I just assumed that the cap was placed in the holder in the fuel flap during refuelling (it's not as good at the holder on the P38A). Ron B. VK2OTC
