Is this Ceramic Coating worth doing?

The Ceramic Coating is definitely worth doing as it protects the car fully. I had my SVR done sometime ago and have a service wash off the detailer every month or so and it looks fantastic everytime, like showroom condition, better even, the body and paintwork feel like glass to touch and there is such a deep deep shine. I don’t let anyone else wash it anymore, the roadside chaps or the dealers especially and dirt falls off with just a jet wash in between detailer washes.

The detailer who applied the Ceramic Coating had three different levels with a 3 year, 5 year to 7 year protection before having reapplication. Not cheap but in the scheme of things your paying enough for the car so it’s well worth it in the end.
If you still have doubts, it is well worth finding a detailer and going to his premises to see for yourself on other cars but I guarantee you won’t be disappointed Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Thanks for taking the time to reply stillrunning and Lyonhead, sounds like it's worth doing.

stillrunning I notice you're in Cheshire, I'm not far away in Yorkshire, is your guy local to you, and if so, would you mind sending me his details?

Many thanks

Allister

A few in depth pictures of an MY18 here. Love the seats, hope they're the ones on the AB:

I love wood - but in that RR the timber just doesn't look right - maybe the colour and it should be darker 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

I found another video yesterday for anyone interested - I've actually ordered Ivory Leather, but I do love this Tan colour! (although not the stripey wood)

Looks like there is space for sunglasses under the drinks tray? A welcome addition now the door storage has been deleted. MY23 D350 HSE

I was at the new Pentland showroom at Ft Kinnard in Edinburgh today, they reckoned they would have a showroom car in maybe a week or two. Had I wished to order today it would have been July delivery.

Just on Ceramic Coat, my current car had that on when I bought it, one did notice the difference when washing, and it did not need to be polished for a couple of years. Only Range Rovers since 1988

I agree 100%, with the American designed look, I'd much rather have my current seat design. I also feel the seat adjusters on the doors is overkill too, spoils the clean look that we are used to. But it's progress I guess and who are we to argue.

Rover said putting comtrols on doors was only way to make seats wider

Picked up my MY2018 Vogue a couple of days ago, and the best way to describe what it's like,
compared to the previous model is 'The same...but better'.
Could have waited until 1st March, but a couple of things led to picking it up in January.
Luvvin it.
