Judder under breaking

When breaking (medium pressure on peddle) I can feel a judder through my seat. The front break disk and pads are new Land Rover ones fitted 8,000 miles ago. The car has covered 79,000 miles and is on its its original suspension bushes. I’m not a DIYer normally. But could somebody suggest and order of things to check to identify the problem.

Webbie,
your disks may be "dirty" brake pads material deposits on the disks. accelerate to ~80 mph, apply brakes with increasing pressure, when the speed drops to ~25 mph accelerate again and repeat procedure, do this 3-4 times. do this in a safe place please.

Thumbs Up

Nino Nino, your perception has worked. I am obviously too gentle with my breaking. Many thanks.
