P38 v8 exhaust

Just saw a stock 4.6 p38 it sounded awesome so much nicer than the silence of the l322 m62... would the p38 exhausts on the l322 make it sound similar? Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

You can't fit the P38 exhaust on an L322

There are several aftermarket options, yet the L322 philosophy is to offer a smooth and quiet driving experience, not a V8 rumble. (That said I have a stainless steel exhaust line on my P38 Wink l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l
