Hi Gang,

We're potentially interested by a vehicle offered by New Barn Cars Ltd, in Gloucestershire.

I gather some of you may have bought L322s from them, so would appreciate any feedback (purchase, aftersale, vehicles, warranty etc)

Bought mine from them.

Purchase all seamless.

Vehicle was released to me with several faults after claiming it had had a full check over, beware.

On a plus all faults were resolved under the warranty.

Now obviously they know their way around LR RR 4X4s, so they knew of these faults prior to delivery, I feel it was a trick to get them covered by the warranty supplier rather than pay themselves. Repairs were carried out by their own workshop on the other side of town, the invoice for these was over £2000.

I was completely new to the RR, did not think to test ride height, sat nav, various dash lights not working on the dash, no rear fog light etc etc, strange it had a fresh MOT issued by their workshop. Even more strange they knew the list of faults and had them all fixed in 2 days.

The pile of service history that I saw prior to purchase, disappeared after, never to reappear!

Armed with this if you have found the one you should be ok. Staff were all pleasant even after I hard bargained for a sizable cash discount.

I can't be going back and forth to them, an hour away, to fix little troubles, unless it can be done at LR dealerships - but I doubt their warranty will cover it.

I bought my D3 from them and they were okay but I got the impression it would have been hard work had I needed to get any serious issues resolved. This was before the new consumer legislation came in.
