Bit of Wading

Sorry about the poor quality, I had the phone on MMS setting rather than 720P!

Water was two foot deep, a little deeper in the middle. Slow moving until the last bit where it was shifting. Not really much of a challenge. Although the guy in the brand new Disco behind me chickened out half way through!

Really? I don't remember saying that... I posted recently about not making holes in your door seals to let water out - as you will let water in.

Lol, yeh, when it looks like it may go over the door handles!

Engine bay has come up a treat, there was dried antifreeze everywhere from my header tank explosion... Not anymore!

I know, I was going a bit too slowly I think. You can just about see it on the left hand corner half way through.

There tends to be debris under the water, so usually take it easy going through there unless its deaper and a bow wave is needed for safety! In which case its low range and 1st gear and nothing's guna stop me.

Last year this stretch of road was flooded for probably a month in total, I went through it when it was very deep, over 2 and a half feet. Perfect bow-wave if I do say so myself, good job too because it would have certainly drowned the engine otherwise.

With this one I have to be careful as it has a K&N filter due to the facelift conversion, so could easily gulp water.

Of course... I'm sure if Disco guy realised he had a button for that he would have had more confidence.
