Needed new pads & discs on both my TDV8 and the wife's Ewok.

Another forum member recommended Langley 4x4.

Got in touch with them … a keen price … and booked the cars in.

Booking was only six days away and they were still able to offer me a loan car.

Plan was TDV8 day one. Ewok day two.

TDV8 dropped off at 8:30. Was called at 1:30 to say it was ready.

They're not far from me so I took the Ewok in when I collected mine 30mins later.

They called me at 5 to say it would be ready for collection by 6.

There's no way my local LR Stealer would manage to do both in one day!

What's more, when I came to pay it was less than they'd quoted me.

Why?

Because they'd got 20% off the parts for my car.

They could've not passed on this saving and I'll still have been happy with the cost.

A nice surprise and, of course, I'm glad they did though.

Lookers quoted £1,845 (I'm not sure if it included VAT) to do my brakes.

Langley 4x4 charged hundreds less to do both.

Chatting to them yesterday, they're all ex-LR Stealer staff. And they certainly know their onions - well LRs.

Can't recommend them to you highly enough.

So if Kings Langley is close enough to you and your FFRR needs something … give Brian at Langley 4x4 a shout.

nice to hear. I have only used indies since 2009 and have never regretted it. Have only had bad experiences with main stealers (like trying to replace my ABS unit for over £1000 when they didn't even undo it!)
