Has anyone used any Dr Leather products and can advise on which one to go for (or an alternative) please?

Our L405 has ivory seats. I can seen a faint blue cast starting to appear (dye transfer). Water based wet wipes show a blue cast when rubbed on the leather to try and clean it but don't actually remove the blue.

Wasn't sure where to post this as don't think it should be restricted to the L405 section.

I used the Dr Leather wipes on my BMW with ivory Napa leather. They were good (and convenient as well). I only used them on the BMW so never did a head to head comparison. Worth a go since they are easy to use. They come in a dispenser tub so you can keep them handy.

I have a bit of 'jeans transfer' on my ivory. So I did the standard YouTube search and after a while I found this: &t=497s

To save you watching it all he recommends Woolite mixed 5 to 1.

Tried Woolite on the ivory leather seats today. Used toothbrush to agitate the Woolite and microfibre cloth rubbing on the leather as well. As per the video and gonna go's post, a safe product and excellent results. Blue tint gone

Been using the armorol leather wipes on mine, gets the blue out of my seats Ok. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Never knew about them Mark... Walked away from a lovely 4.4 AB L405 because of an incredible blue dye stain on driver's seat... Maybe would have had a go if had known about these remedies

halfrauds sell them them and the matt dash wipes which are useful for a quick wipe round, though can leave the centre console a bit smeary. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I always use "Savon de Marseille" and it works perfect ! Some soap shavings in warm water and clean with a soft sponge.

I use Landrovers own leather seat cleaner. you only get small bottle but actually works a treat with minimal pressure.
Then give a good soaking in glyptons conditioner.

I have used Dr Leather wipes on the cream leather in our Cooper S and have been unimpressed. I'll try Woolite over xmas  Current: FF Westminster money pit
