Well, we picked up the new car on Friday of last week after our return from holiday Thursday night. We have spent the weekend visiting family and friends in our new toy. Approx 400 miles on a mix of roads from motorways to the hills of Yorkshire. What a fantastic piece of kit! Iโve had some nice cars over the years, but after always promising myself a full fat rangey before 50 and managing to get one 4 years early. My only regret is not getting one earlier!

Fantastic news and congratulations on getting there before 50! Unfortunately, I didnโt get there until 53 |

8 hours seems optimistic, but I wish you luck - you'll certainly get to experience a variety of roads on that trip |

Google maps give it just over 8, so I suppose with a couple of coffee breaks it will probably be about 9.

We used to run regularly from Reading to Aberdeen up the M6 and it was usually around 10hrs.

Have done a similar journey dozens of times now and 10 hours seems to be the natural average.
