FBH - not trying to scare monger...just wondering. | |
Quoted from the article below:
"Initial investigations indicate an accidental fire within the Land Rover caused other cars to ignite."

I am just waiting for a T91 FBH heater remote to arrive by post. Whilst looking into whether to get a remote or not, I read the following comments in a FBH discussion on here, but specifically about a petrol FBH
"Then I don't understand why you wouldnt want one? It's not like it's going to catch fire... "
Let's hope not.
As a sailor, I am no stranger to Webasto - lots of boats have them and have for years, and I have never heard another sailor say "oooo you don't want one a them, it ll burn yer boat down". So, I googled that, and didn't like what I read...however, a balanced argument, but inconclusive it would seem:

Posting heresay vs fact on the YBW forum is a risky business - they are the most cantankerous bunch I have ever encountered.
If anyone hears anything more about the exact cause of the fire in Liverpool can they post it please?
Thanks
Mark
