It will be the ball joints or bushes in the lower arm. Had both my arms swapped and similar knock went away.

The wa wa wa wa .... is that when you have the rear windows open given that its warm over there? If so its just turbulance and negative pressure waves... sounds like a chinook following you?

If not does the Wa wa wa wa noise go when you brake? If so it could be the sliders on the caliper sticking.. I had this.. Removed caliper clean and lube slider with copper slip and de-crud the caliper. 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS
